We have some unfortunate news for our residents, guests, and vendors.

Due to significant rainfall, Central Park received more water than it was able to handle, and we have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s event. We are currently working to identify a new date later this summer and will share those details as soon as they are finalized.

While Mother Nature had other plans, the first weekend at Parkside Pavilion was an incredible success before the weather moved in. The overwhelming support and excitement from our community reinforced what we already knew—this venue represents a bright future for Central Park and the Calumet Avenue corridor.

We are genuinely excited to continue bringing amazing events, concerts, and experiences to our community. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience as we work through this setback and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Parkside Pavilion soon.

🌧️ Dyer Summer Fest Update 🌧️

Unfortunately, the weather has not been on our side during this year’s Summer Fest. Due to ongoing rain and wet conditions, today’s festival activities will be delayed until 3:00 PM.

Our team is working hard to prepare the grounds and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate another weather-related challenge this weekend.

We look forward to seeing everyone later this afternoon for a great day of Summer Fest fun, live entertainment, food, rides, and fireworks!

🚗 Parking Reminder for Dyer Summer Fest Visitors! 🚗

As attendance continues to grow throughout the weekend, we encourage festivalgoers to take advantage of our FREE shuttle services to and from designated parking areas.

🚌 Northgate Park
🚌 Park & Ride Lot at the corner of 213th Street and Calumet Avenue

Shuttles will run continuously to help make your visit easier and reduce congestion near Central Park.

What a way to kick off Dyer’s 35th Annual Summer Fest! 🎺🇺🇸

A special thank you to Carlos for his outstanding bugle performance during the opening ceremonies. His rendition helped create a memorable start to an exciting weekend as we celebrated the grand opening of Parkside Pavilion and another great year of Summer Fest.

Be sure to join us throughout the weekend at Central Park for live music, carnival rides, great food, family activities, and more! Make sure you bring your lawn chairs to ensure a great view of the stage!!

Despite yesterday evening's weather, we're ready for another great day at the 35th Annual Dyer Summer Fest! Join us at Central Park for live music, rides, food vendors, family fun, and more.

To help make your visit easier, we encourage guests to utilize our free shuttle service from:
🚌 Park & Ride Lot at the corner of 213th Street & Calumet Avenue
🚌 Northgate Park off Calumet Avenue

Please note that while the grass parking lot is open and available for parking, it remains wet from yesterday's weather. Guests looking to avoid muddy conditions are encouraged to use the shuttle locations.

Welcome to the team Sparrow!

Today Officer Suarez and K9 Sparrow graduated from K9 school! They are both now officially certified as a K9 Unit and will be out on patrol this weekend!

Dyer Summer Fest Update

Due to severe weather and for the safety of our residents, vendors, volunteers, performers, and staff, all events scheduled for Thursday, June 11, at the 35th Annual Dyer Summer Fest have been canceled.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the remainder of the festival weekend.

To make up for the cancellation, Thursday's wristband special will be honored on Friday. Wristbands from 5:00pm - 10:00pm!
