6/4/2026-Dwight Units were dispatched to Northbrook Dr for a theft. A Customer had some of his belongings taken while shopping at the truck stop.

6/8/2026-Dwight Issued an Ordinance violation Citation in the 500 block of S Lincoln St.

6/9/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop at the intersection of Washington and South. Cited was the driver, Sommer Barragan of Dwight, for Driving on a Suspended License.

*HEAVY TRAFFIC ALERT*

Please avoid the area of Old Route 66 and Route 17 if possible due to heavy traffic congestion with a significant amount of vintage vehicles coming through town.

Motorists should consider using alternate routes until traffic conditions improve.

Please drive safely, remain patient, and watch for other vehicles, pedestrians, and any traffic control devices in the area.
