Today, the Judice Volunteer Fire Department pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we ask everyone to keep the true meaning of today in their hearts while also staying safe. Whether you’re traveling, boating, grilling, or enjoying time at home, please look out for one another and make safety a priority.

🚨 Help Us Protect Our Community 🚨

The Judice Volunteer Fire Department has an opportunity to win up to $10,000 through the SLEMCO Operation Round-Up First Responder Grant — and we need YOUR vote!

💧 Our area is prone to flooding, and right now we do not have the proper resources to respond effectively during high water events. This grant would allow us to outfit a High Water Rescue Truck, giving us the ability to help families when they need it most.

As most of y’all know, we had a major house fire yesterday afternoon on Bourque rd ! Would like to thanks all the departments and Firefighters:
Duson,Scott,Lafayette,MiiltonBroussard,Youngville,Carencro,and Maurice,who came out and help us extinguish this major fire!

Special thanks to Troy Vincent with Toad-Al Excavation for bringing his excavator and helping us with the overall, with out him we would still be out there trying to put out hot spot! It’s doesn’t matter what time or the day it is, I can call him for some help with his equipment and he’s coming and never charges us ! We are so bless in our community to have people like him !! Thanks again my brother!!

Once a week the Scott, Duson, and Judice fire departments complete a scheduled training where fire fighters go through drills and training exercises to help when responding to emergencies.

🚑❤️ Thank You, Acadian Ambulance! ❤️🚑

The Judice Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Acadian Ambulance for generously donating a life-saving AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to our department.

This critical piece of equipment will allow our firefighters and first responders to provide immediate, potentially life-saving care when every second counts. Sudden cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time — and having this AED available strengthens our ability to protect and serve the people of Judice and the surrounding community.

Partnerships like this make a real difference. We are grateful for Acadian’s continued support of public safety and their commitment to helping us save lives.

Together, we are building a safer community. 💛

We would also like to personally thank Troy Guidry and Robert Benoit With Acadian for always looking out for the Fire Departments!
