5/4/26 @ 13:44 a first alarm box was transmitted for a commercial structure fire at Main & Stevenson in Duryea. The fire was located at the former Yuhas’ Bar. Fire reached 3rd alarm due to heavy fire load in a building deemed as a “do not enter” structure for its decades of abandonment. 5 master streams via aerial ladder and multiple ground monitors were put into service. Duryea units remained on scene for nearly 7 hours before returning to service. Thank you to all our mutual aid departments for their help💪🏻.
