Excelsior Classical Academy Excelsior is a Not-for-profit Public Charter School with a Classical model in Durham, NC. Grades K-12 Excelsior uses the Core Knowledge Sequence in grades K-8.

Excelsior Classical Academy CFA is a tuition-free public charter school open to all students in North Carolina. Every student takes Spanish in grades K-5, Latin in grades 6-8, Logic in grade 9, and Rhetoric in grade 11. In the senior year, each student writes and presents a senior thesis. Responsibility, self-discipline, and civic virtue are promoted throughout all grades. All students wear unifor

ms to foster unity and remove distinctions of wealth and socioeconomic status. We provide busing and offer free and reduced-price lunch and uniform assistance to those who qualify. Mascot: The Flyin' Lions
