We want to hear from our residents and encourage our visitors while on this page to provide comments and feedback. However, we do have user guidelines and respectfully request the following from our site visitors:

Any profile that appears to violate any terms of the hosting site will be reported to site administrators. Any comments that appear to be spam or advertising solicitation will be removed from the site. We will post on relevant issues concerning public safety communications and reply to legitimate questions and concerns regarding the 911 center in an effort to help the citizens and businesses of our remain informed. We encourage constructive and positive comments, and want to create an open discussion with the public and field responders that we serve. Remember, this is a public forum and any information is viewable by the public. As a preventative measure against identity theft and for personal safety, please do not post personal details such as your social security number, birth date, physical street address, telephone numbers, or any other identifying information you do not want available to the public. DECC is a department within the City of Durham and as such this site and the comments therein are subject to public records and retention laws and disclosure to third parties.
