Hello Parkwood neighbors,
Our April food drive was a great success! We collected over 300 pounds of shelf stable food for the Parktown Food Hub. Thank you!

Our next monthly food drive is this weekend (Fri morning-Sun afternoon) June 5-7 at four locations around Parkwood: 5301 Pelham Rd, 5317 Newhall Rd, 1607 Euclid Rd, and 1007 Limerick Ln. Collection bins will be out to accept your donations. Watch for the signs! Bins are also available in the HOA building.

Most needed at this time: Mac & cheese, canned tomato sauce, and canned vegetables

What to donate? New, unopened, unexpired shelf-stable items (no glass containers please), such as:
🥫Canned tuna, chicken, beef stew
🥫Canned beans, vegetables, tomato sauce, fruit
🥫Canned soups and broths
🥫Mac & cheese
🥫Dry beans
🥫Pasta, ramen, rice, spices
🥫Oatmeal, cereal, cereal bars
🥫 Peanut butter, jelly

Our neighbors at Parkwood United Methodist Church are hosting a presentation about Christian Nationalism tomorrow.

Everyone is invited, just take a dish to share for the lunch.

We hope you will join us this Sunday for a presentation on Christian Nationalism by Dr. Lester Ruth and a potluck lunch. Everyone is welcome! Please bring a dish to share!

We are so excited to announce that registration for the 2026 CVLC Music Camp is officially open! This year, we’re bringing the joy of the holiday season to the middle of summer with our theme: Christmas & The Incarnation.

It’s going to be a week full of music, learning, and fun as the kids learn to play well-known Christmas carols and explore the meaning behind the season.

Dates: July 13 - 17
Time: 9am - 12:15pm
Ages: 5 - 11 years old

📍 Important Info:
To keep things focused and fun, we are limiting registration to 6 groups of 5 campers. Only the first 30 children to register are guaranteed a spot, so don’t wait!

Free Health Screenings available tomorrow at Parkwood United Methodist Church.

Jubilee Christian Church Int'l-Chapel Of Victory is offering free health screenings at Parkwood United Methodist Church this Saturday, April 18 from 1-4 pm.

Screenings include blood pressure, glucose/blood sugar and more. Doctors will offer free medical advice.

These screenings are free and open to the Parkwood community and beyond.
