Until then this and things like it are performative and amount to nothing more than a "dog and pony show"

Update:
To date there has been no response from either the City of Durham, NC Government City Council or Durham County Government County Commissioners on our request to adopt a joint resolution in support of the UN General Assembly vote on March 25th 2026 that recognized slavery as the gravest crime against humanity.
What we are asking now is that you email and/or call the council and county commissioners and respectfully request a response.
