About 11 years ago, four guys who come from Portland and Milford, CT met at Karaoke at the infamous Wi******er Cafe in Portland and the rest is history! The Durham Recreation Department welcomes Small Town Roots on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Allyn Brook Park. This local favorite plays the most popular new country to classic rock and beyond. RiverJack will be playing tonight at Allyn Brook Park from 6-8 pm. Poppa Lou's Lemonade Company will serving up some refreshing, fresh-squeezed lemonade tonight to help you beat the heat. The Ice Cream Truck will be arriving a little bit late and Jerry's Pizza will be making their delicious pizza!
