Work Experience
Participants are provided with basic work skills and good work habits necessary to enter into the job market. Placement with employing agencies such as businesses and organizations, both public and non-profit. Employment training provided based on participant and service area needed.
100% payment to participant for up to three months (90 days). Workman’s compensation insurance pro
vided. If required, background and drug screening is paid by the employer. On The Job Training
Training provided in the public or private sector. Prepares participants for full or part-time employment. Assists participant in becoming self-sufficient.
50% reimbursement to employer for up to three months (90 days) during the training period. Employer is required to provide Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Classroom Training
Funding provided for vocational training, certifications, and other courses at accredited colleges, universities, vocational institutions, and accredited specialized training institutions. Classroom Training applicants attending a college or university will need to submit an application prior to deadline:
Semester Quarter Application Deadline

Enhances skills and employability to meet job market demands requiring technical and specialized training. Adult Program(s) Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants applying for employment and training services must be unemployed, underemployed, upgrading skills for career advancement or seeking retraining of skills to obtain employment. To determine applicant eligibility for employment and training programs, the following documents are required:
Copy of Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or Tribal Membership – Federally Recognized Tribe
Copy of Photo Identification
Selective Service – Males 18 years and older
Residence Verification – proof of mailing and physical address if different (junk mail, utility bill, etc.) Signed Employability Development Plan
Signed Acknowledgement Form
Other documents may be requested for ETS. Youth Employment Services (Applications accepted January 1st through April 1st)
Participants ages 16-21 on or before 1st day of work. Participants are permitted to work 5 weeks. Applicants applying for youth services must meet supplemental youth eligibility requirements. To determine applicant eligibility for youth employment services, the following documents are required:
