And just like that, another unforgettable Choctaw Labor Day Festival has come to an end! ✊🏽 Day three included worship service, cultural activities, more entertainment and the conclusion to the ever exciting stickball tournament.

We were grateful to gather this morning for worship at the chapel on our Capitol Grounds during the Labor Day Festival. 🙏🏽

Each year, Sunday morning provides a special opportunity to come together in faith, fellowship and reflection as a Choctaw community.

Another incredible day of celebrating Choctaw culture, community and togetherness! We kicked off the day with our annual 5K and saw lots of competition in sports and fitness, our culture was on full display, and entertainment brought all the excitement! Day two was one to remember.

What a beautiful celebration of culture, confidence and leadership! We are proud of every young woman who participated in this year’s pageant and shared her talent, heart and connection to Chahta culture.

Today’s State of the Nation address was a celebration of progress, resilience, and the strength of the Choctaw people.

Over the past year, we expanded healthcare, education, housing, and cultural preservation efforts while continuing to invest in opportunities for future generations. We honored those who serve our Nation, celebrated the achievements of our youth, and reaffirmed our commitment to protecting our sovereignty.

What we shared today represents more than accomplishments. It reflects promises kept, lives changed, and a vision for a stronger future.

Don’t miss the Labor Day Pageant this evening at 6:00 p.m. at the Choctaw Labor Day Festival! 👑

The 2026 Labor Day Pageant will take place at the Choctaw Labor Day Festival on Friday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. 👑

Contestants from each district in the Choctaw Nation who have won in their districts vie to become the Little Miss, Junior, and Miss Choctaw Nation.

This tradition dates back many decades. The title is an honor and opens the door to a year of opportunities to represent the Choctaw Nation at our events.
