Durango Motor Company, Fort Lewis College Athletics and Durango Food Bank are teaming up to Help Drive Out Hunger, and we’ll be collecting food donations at today’s game.

Help us fill the F-150 with some of the pantry items we need most:

Peanut butter, Jelly or honey,Pasta sauce, Mac & cheese, Condiments like mustard, mayo and salad dressing, Baking mixes for breads, muffins, and cakes

Every item collected stays right here in our community and helps local families.

So before you head to the game, grab a few pantry staples and bring them along. 💛

🥫 One week down — and there’s still plenty of time to help fill the F-150!

Durango Motor Companys Drive Out Hunger food drive is underway and every donation collected benefits Durango Food Bank and stays right here in our community.

If you’re heading to the grocery store this week, consider grabbing an extra pantry staple to add to the truck. Donations can be dropped off at Durango Motor Company throughout September.

It’s officially underway! 🚙🥫

Help Drive Out Hunger starts today and Durango Ford Lincoln is ready to begin filling the bed of this awesome F-150 with food for our neighbors in need!

Throughout the entire month of September, Durango Motor Company will be collecting donations for Durango Food Bank as part of Ford’s 2026 Building Together Global Food Drive. Every item collected here in Durango will stay local and help stock our pantry shelves for families in our community.

Some of our most-needed items include peanut butter, jelly or honey, pasta sauce, mac & cheese, condiments and baking mixes.

You can drop off donations at Durango Motor Company all month long.

We can’t wait to see just how full our community can make this truck!

🍞 We have LOTS of bread to share! 🍞

The Durango Food Bank currently has an abundance of bread items available. If you could use some, stop by during any of the times below:

TODAY: Before 2:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Wednesday: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

No appointment needed — just stop in and ask for surplus bread!

Please help us spread the word so we can get this food into the hands of our neighbors who can use it. ❤️

🍞 Bread on the move!

Today, over 600 pounds of bread headed west to our friends at the Good Sam’s Food Pantry in Cortez! 🚚🥖

We also got to meet Elisa, their awesome AmeriCorps member, who helped make sure all that bread got where it needed to go.

We love being able to share surplus with our neighboring food pantries and keep good food moving throughout Southwest Colorado. 😄

🥖 Nearly 600 pounds of bread products heading straight into the Pagosa community today! Thank you to the team at Our Community Eats for everything you do to nourish Pagosa Springs!

A big part of our core mission is stepping up to share resources across county lines. Food insecurity doesn't stop at the La Plata County border and keeping regional pantries stocked across Southwest Colorado is a team effort. By working together to redistribute food when we have an extra influx or when a neighboring community is experiencing a time of scarcity, we can reduce waste, stretch limited resources and build a stronger food network for all of our neighbors.

We have two key roles available during distribution hours:
1️⃣ Front Desk Volunteer (Check-ins & warm welcomes)
2️⃣ Pantry Support Volunteer (Shopping assistance & client care)

📍 DISTRIBUTION TIMES:
• Mon & Tue: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Wed: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Thu: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Full-day and shorter half-shifts are available on Mon, Tue & Wed!
