🚒 Fire Officer 1 is coming to DuPont! 🚒

The City of DuPont Fire Department is partnering with PNW Fire Training LLC to host a Fire Officer 1 course this September. This 40-hour course is designed to help current and future company officers build leadership, administration, safety, and emergency service management skills.

EMS calls make up the majority of our responses, and we are proud to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to the DuPont community when it matters most.

This Saturday, May 16, 2026, the City of DuPont proudly recognizes Armed Forces Day as proclaimed by Mayor Ronald J. Frederick and the DuPont City Council.

Last night at council meeting we had the honor of recognizing Captain Tim Holen for 20 years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to the DuPont Fire Department and our community.

Tim’s career reflects what the fire service is all about — professionalism, compassion, integrity, and always being there when people need help the most. From emergency calls to mentoring firefighters and serving alongside his crews, his impact has been felt throughout the department for the last two decades.
