Aaron Chausmer' Social Page I am re-branding this page for my social, community, and volunteer efforts. Let's see what we can

Wondering why I've been silent on FB? I've taken a step away, and not regretted it! Also, I'm looking at different things - including applying for a Seat on the State Court of DeKalb County to fill Judge Dax Lopez's seat. (So if you know the Governor, put in a good word!)

Also, I am going to try to rebrand this page to cover my social involvement, including my volunteer efforts with DeKalb Schools, including Austin Elementary and the planned Dunwoody Chamblee Elementary School.

So, until next time . . .

If your kid (or kids) attend Austin Elementary, please read: the Principal’s Advisory Council is currently holding its election for a new member. I am running and I would appreciate your vote. I really want to help our community and believe that our schools are critical to that. Please help me help our community. Thanks. Election is today through next Tuesday, September 22.

Voting links have been emailed by the DCSD school district.

I support Mindy Pillow in the run-off for the Superior Court of DeKalb County on August 11, and I urge you to do the same.

During my prior campaign, I heard Mindy talk about her vision for the bench. She offered substance and ideas, which I did not hear from her opponent.

I urge you to consider voting for and supporting Mindy.

Thanks for everyone’s support yesterday, today, and tomorrow for Election Day! We couldn’t have made it this far without yet.

A reminder that we will be celebrating democracy in action tomorrow at 7:30p in a socially responsible manner at . Masks are requested and we will mark off sitting areas.

If you have questions about voting, this may help.

Georgia’s primary is different this year, and voters have questions. Typically, only about 5% of ballots cast in Georgia are absentee. This year, hundreds of thousands of people will be voting by mail, many for the first time, and the state expects to see a much higher rate of absentee ballots. Ab...

If you still have an absentee ballot, you can deposit it in a secure DeKalb County elections drop box at City Hall today to make it easier for residents to cast an absentee ballot; you don't need to mail it!

“A secure DeKalb County elections drop box was installed at City Hall today to make it easier for residents to cast an absentee ballot for the June 9 election. The drop box is under video surveillance. Absentee ballots can be dropped off 24/7 through 7 p.m. on June 9.”

Please know that some Election Day (June 9) voting locations have CHANGED, or may CHANGE. The updated list, through May 30, 2020, is below.

I have heard of some confusion about the absentee ballot process.

If you voted early in the March 23 election, you CAN and SHOULD still vote in the June 9 election. If you already voted, your absentee ballot will not have the races that you already voted for.

The June 9 election includes my race; and if you only vote in March - I'll miss out on your support. Just because you voted early in March does not mean your vote counted for those races originally scheduled for June 9 (was May 19).

If you are unsure, go to your precinct and vote in-person. EVERY VOTE MATTERS!
