Urgent:
Temporary Outdoor Burning Ban Due to current weather conditions, effective immediately and until further notice, open burning and outside fires in the Town of Dunstable will not be permitted.

MOSQUITOES - more than just annoying. That bite could be carrying EEE or West Nile Virus.

Groton and Tyngsboro are now in the moderate risk zone for West Nile Virus and EEE. These are serious diseases. Please wear long sleeves and/or an EPA approved insect repellant when outside, particularly during the high activity time for mosquitoes at dusk and dawn. Maybe end that outdoor activity 30 minutes earlier to get in before the mosquito air force arrives.

Mosquitoes

Mass DPH samples mosquitoes in all the towns to watch for West Nile Virus (WNV) and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE). While Dunstable remains low risk we still recommend taking care to avoid exposure to mosquito borne viruses. Mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn. If you are outside at those times wear long sleeves and/or a repellant with an EPA registered active ingredient.
