Our new weeknight Jamestown location is Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers, Inc. at 358 East 5th Street. Appointments for Tuesday & Wednesday evenings can be made by calling 211 Western New York. The James Prendergast Library Association will still be the location for Saturday tax preparation.

The only Dunkirk location taking appointments currently is the United Way of Chautauqua County - Dunkirk Office at 626 Central Avenue.

Other sites throughout the county are available, call today for more information!

Our VITA Volunteers Are Ready!

Today, our incredible VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) volunteers are receiving training to prepare for another season of offering free tax preparation for eligible Chautauqua County residents!

2-1-1 will begin booking appointments Monday for qualifying individuals.

Individuals interested in having their taxes done through the VITA program can schedule an appointment by calling 211 Western New York at 2-1-1 or 1-888-696-9211.

Tax Season opens on January 29th. Don't miss out on booking a free tax preparation appointment with a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site near you.

211 Western New York is scheduling all appointments for Prendergast Library, the United Ways, SUNY Fredonia Incubator, Sinclairville, Mayville, Silver Creek, Findley Lake and the Westfield YWCA. Assistants can help you determine if you qualify for service. All volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS annually.
