🔦𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧! Did you attend our General Membership Meeting at the National CERT Conference (or virtually)? National CERT Week will be celebrated 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬 - 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. This year's theme, "𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝟰𝟬 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 & 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙" honors the 40 year history of the CERT Program and encourages local CERT programs to celebrate CERT's bright future.

🎒Back-to-school means new supplies, clothes and routines. It’s also a great time to plan for your child’s safety. In an emergency, do they know how to reach you or where to meet if separated? Make an emergency contact card and ask schools about reunification.

September is National Preparedness Month. With the 2026 theme being "Americans Stand Ready To Keep Our Loved Ones Safe and Prepared ..." It's an important time to incorporate steps we can take to keep children, students and families safe into our Back to School Routine ...

Know your risk: Learn what disasters or emergencies can happen where you live using tools on ready.gov.

Make a plan: Create a family emergency plan that includes emergency meeting places, contact info, and medical details.

Build a kit: Pack essential food, water, medicine, and a go-bag to last at least 72 hours.

Get involved: Connect with Dunellen Oem, Dunellen NJ CERT to get access to curated emergency preparedness information, resources, and training.

Flood Safety Week is here! Do you know your flood risk?

With future storms in mind, DEP launched the “Know Your Flood Risk” tool to help New Jersey residents understand their risk and prepare. The easy-to-use resource combines FEMA flood maps with updated climate data from DEP and Rutgers to show how flooding could affect your area today and in the future.

You can also find information on weather and emergency alerts, New Jersey’s real estate disclosure requirements, DEP Blue Acres buyouts, and learn which communities across the state are facing the greatest flood risks.

This year is extra special as we celebrate 40 YEARS of CERT, and ProPac is so excited to be there celebrating with all of you!
