We took Staff Appreciation Week way back…like “publishers clearing house just showed up at your door” back. 🎤💰

A parent and I had the honor (and honestly, the most fun) channeling our inner Ed McMahon while presenting a giant check to Mrs. Okoniewski for our 90s theme—and yes, it felt just as dramatic as it sounds.

All jokes aside, there’s nothing oversized about the impact she makes every single day. The laughter, the dedication, the heart she pours into our school…that’s the real prize.

Turns out the 90s got one thing right: celebrating amazing people never goes out of style. 💛

What an amazing night at ADV! 🎉

We were so excited to celebrate our very first Athletic Banquet honoring our volleyball, basketball, and flag football athletes! This was a special moment for our school community, and we can’t wait to make it a tradition every year.

A huge thank you to Coach K*k, our Athletic Director, and to our incredible coaches—Aument, Shukur, Cruz, and Santana—for their dedication, leadership, and support.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our school community!

Out of all the nominees across Dunedin, Academie Da Vinci proudly earned 2 out of the 5 Mayor’s Top Apple School Awards—an incredible achievement that reflects the dedication and excellence of our staff.

👏 Congratulations to our outstanding winners:

We are so proud of their hard work, passion, and commitment to our students. Their recognition highlights the innovative and inspiring environment we strive to create every day at ADV.

"Together We Shine," presented by the Music and Dance Departments, was nothing short of enchanting. The evening sparkled with a sense of community, unity, and shared joy, woven into every beat, every step, and every graceful twirl. Our 4th-8th grade music and dance students devoted weeks of heart and dedication to bringing this vision to life, and it showed in every moment in stage. From the timeless charm of "Help!" to the vibrant spirit of "Welcome to New York," the performance carried the audience on a journey - lifting them with the energy, passion, and brilliance of our young performers.

The younger classes enjoyed watching a fun performance, then jumped right in—learning lines, participating in the show, and getting creative by making their own masks and hats as props.

So much joy, creativity, and collaboration all in one experience. We love seeing our students learn from and inspire each other! 💛

Our 3rd–8th grade gifted students had an incredible day at Crystal Spring Nature Preserve! 🌿✨

During their field trip, students explored the beauty of the natural environment while learning about biodiversity firsthand. From observing native plants and wildlife to understanding the importance of protecting ecosystems, this experience brought science to life in a meaningful and engaging way.

We’re so proud of our students for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and thoughtful questions throughout the day. Experiences like these help inspire the next generation of environmental stewards!

What a FUN time at the Art Show!! 🎨🔥

From tasty food trucks to awesome pottery (those fish pieces were everything 🐟😍), there was creativity everywhere! We tried stamp painting, checked out so much cool artwork, and the kids went all in with face painting, beads & bracelets, sewing, and henna tattoos.

And the glow room?! Total favorite!! ✨💡
