We would like to introduce another senior, who is graduating in just a few weeks!

Meet Travis DuRocher! He is a second year student, taking EMT! After graduation, Travis plans to work as a fire fighter. He has a goal of becoming a fire investigator for the ATF! He is on Ottawa Lake/Whiteford Fire Department outside of class! His favorite part of the program was crawling in the SMOKE trailer in Fire class and learning how to work on patients in EMT!

Congratulations Travis, we are so proud of you!

We would like to introduce another senior, who will be graduating in just a few weeks!

Joshua Ebendick is a first year EMT student! After graduation, he plans on going to Central Michigan University to major in Athletic Training! Joshua is also involved in track and field, powerlifting, and band! His favorite part of the program has been experiencing the third-rides!

We would like to introduce another senior, who will be graduating in a few weeks!

Meet Gabriella Schneider! This is her first year in the program! She plans to go to Washtenaw Community College to become a Cardiac Tech! She has been involved in theater and choir for the last four years! Gabriella’s favorite part of the program is how close she has gotten with her classmates!

We would like to introduce one of our seniors, who will be graduating in just a few weeks!

Lukas Neikerk is a first year EMT student! After graduation he plans on attending Northern Michigan University to study Criminal Justice! He also participates in Varsity Choir, Chamber Choir, and Jazz Band! His favorite part of the program is the practicals!

We would like to introduce another senior, who will be graduating in just a few weeks!

Meet Hayden Wright! This is her first year in the program and after graduation she plans on attending Fire school and getting her Paramedic license! She is on the volleyball team at school. Hayden’s favorite part of the program has been the third-ride experience!

Rileigh Grady is a first year EMT student! She plans to attend Adrian College to study Athletic Training and will be on the dance team! She is involved in Dance, Track and Band! Her favorite part of this program has been building friendships and the strong teamwork!

We would like to introduce another senior, who will be graduating in just a few weeks!

Meet Taylor Gutchak! This was her first year in the program! After graduation she plans on attending University of Toledo for Biomedical engineering before transferring to Wayne state for Medschool with the goal of becoming a Cardiothoratic Surgeon! Taylor is involved in NHS, Swim, and Track! Her favorite part of the program has been the third-rides and hands on learning!

Do you know an upcoming senior who is interested in the medical Field? Are you interested in a hands-on teaching environment? The DHS EMT Academy is great for students who are eager to do more. If you know someone who may be interested, encourage them to speak to their guidance counselor about joining this program!
