Calling all Duncanville creators!

Do you have an idea for a mural, performance, workshop, or public art project that could energize our community? The City of Duncanville Arts Grant Program offers funding for:

- Annual arts programming by local nonprofits
- Single public-facing projects and events
- Permanent public art installations

Grant applications are being accepted until June 30. Local artists, nonprofits, and businesses are encouraged to apply today!

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Beginning the evening of Tuesday, June 16, two northbound lanes on Cedar Ridge Drive will remain closed overnight as crews prepare for scheduled concrete work on Wednesday, June 17.

Following the completion of the concrete work, the project is expected to return to single-lane overnight closures as construction continues.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and plan for possible delays.

Thank you for your patience as these roadway improvements continue.

Last Saturday, residents from across the Best Southwest came together for the 2026 Best Southwest Juneteenth Festival hosted by the City of Lancaster, TX - Municipal Government.

The festival featured performances by Billboard Award-winning artist Mario, Grammy Award-winning artist Lecrae, and R&B singer Dondria, along with vendors, entertainment, and activities throughout the day.

Congratulations to Duncanville’s Mr. & Mrs. Juneteenth, James and Judy Talley, who proudly represented our community during the celebration.
