- Annual arts programming by local nonprofits

Kidsville Splash Pad Update: Good news! The Kidsville Splash Pad at Armstrong Park is once again operational and will reopen today, Wednesday, June 17, at 4:00 PM.

Thank you for your patience while crews worked to complete the necessary repairs. We look forward to seeing everyone back out enjoying the splash pad this afternoon!

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Beginning the evening of Tuesday, June 16, two northbound lanes on Cedar Ridge Drive will remain closed overnight as crews prepare for scheduled concrete work on Wednesday, June 17.

Following the completion of the concrete work, the project is expected to return to single-lane overnight closures as construction continues.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and plan for possible delays.

Thank you for your patience as these roadway improvements continue.

Last Saturday, residents from across the Best Southwest came together for the 2026 Best Southwest Juneteenth Festival hosted by the City of Lancaster, TX - Municipal Government.

The festival featured performances by Billboard Award-winning artist Mario, Grammy Award-winning artist Lecrae, and R&B singer Dondria, along with vendors, entertainment, and activities throughout the day.

Congratulations to Duncanville’s Mr. & Mrs. Juneteenth, James and Judy Talley, who proudly represented our community during the celebration.
