Despite wage increases in many low-wage jobs from 2019 to 2021, 60% of the 20 most common jobs in Pennsylvania still paid less than $20 per hour in 2021. As a result, many of these top jobs still had a substantial percentage of workers who were either ALICE or in poverty in 2021. To meet the ALICE Household Survival Budget, a family with two adults and two children needed a combined wage of $32.90 per hour.
