Crews are working a watermain break on Patty Lane that will also affect residents on Bates Drive, Salter Drive, and Drexel Place.

The repair is estimated to take five hours.

Crews are working as quickly as they can to make repairs. Your patience during this process is appreciated.

PSA

City of Duncan’s Public Works Department will close 2nd Street between Pecan and Elm Avenues beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14 for road repairs. The project is expected to be completed by 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Drivers are requested to use caution in this area, to watch for workers, and to follow all traffic detour signage. City of Duncan appreciates our residents’ patience during this important infrastructure repair.

We’re Hiring: Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic

City of Duncan is looking for a skilled mechanic to help keep our fleet running strong! This position works with everything from preventive maintenance to major repairs on city vehicles and equipment.

Day to day, you’ll be inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and more. You’ll also lend a hand with welding, bodywork, and even emergency field repairs when needed.

If you’ve got experience with automotive systems, a knack for problem-solving, and your own set of tools, we’d love to hear from you.
