We had 59 people attend tonight’s Town Council meeting, an incredible show of community involvement.

It’s always encouraging to see this level of participation and engagement. Whether you came to listen, speak, or simply stay informed, your presence matters and helps shape the future of our town.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to be there. Strong communities are built through active participation, and tonight was a great example of that.

🚨 NEW PARK RULE ALERT 🚨

Due to a rising number of incidents causing facility damage and creating safety concerns, e-motos are prohibited inside Tyger River Park and North Spartanburg Park, effective immediately.

This rule will be enforced by both Spartanburg County Parks Department staff and local law enforcement. Anyone operating e-motos inside either park will be asked to leave.

Please be reminded that while other motorized vehicles are allowed, they may not exceed 10 mph and they may not be ridden in playgrounds, athletic pods, or on walking paths.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone!

🏍️What is an e-moto? 🏍️
An e-moto (short for electric motorcycle or electric dirt bike) is a high-powered, two-wheeled electric vehicle. Unlike standard electric bicycles, e-motos do not have functional pedals and are designed to be throttle-dominant or fully electric-powered, capable of reaching speeds over 30 mph.

***UPDATE: Due to recent and forecasted inclement weather, this closure is now expected to begin on Friday, June 5.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Beginning Monday, June 1, the intersection of Berry Shoals Road and Duncan Reidville Road will be closed for construction related to a roundabout project.

This closure is expected to last about 90 days, with roads anticipated to reopen around September 30 (weather permitting).

Detour routes will be in place with signage directing drivers around the project area.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.

We appreciate your patience as these roadway improvements are completed!

Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office may have Officer Hardy, but here in Reidville, we have Officer Ryan Black.

One minute he’s keeping things in order, the next he’s helping tear down festival tents like he signed up for “Officer + Event Crew.”
