The Dumont ambulance is unfortunately down to two certified EMT’s!!! We need the communities help! The people of Dumont have not failed us yet!!!
We need volunteers to drive. You need a current drivers license and we will get you through a quick drivers class!!
We are also looking for people to take the EMT class we will get you into a class as soon as possible and get you through.
Our community really needs your help. We are coming to the point if we can’t get volunteers we will lose our ambulance service and as many of you know we can’t be without an emergency in our town.

Thank you to everyone who helped on Halloween night and more importantly everyone who donated money and canned food! We were able to donate $215.00 in money and a box of canned food to the butler county food pantry!!

I have never been disappointed when it comes to the people of Dumont ! Due to a smaller amount of volunteers on the ambulance crew, I asked for some extra volunteers and like I said I was so grateful and blessed to have so many awesome people step up and help! I can’t say thank you enough!!! Jenni and Tyler Swartz with the community club and Jenni being one of our newest crew members, Dawn Hillsman, Deanna Hanson, Marlin and Darcy Smith! And of course my poor voluntold crew of Robert and Emma!
The turn out tonight was amazing and we raised a great amount of money and canned food for the Butler County food bank!!! I’m so grateful for the amazing people in Dumont you all took us in 21 years ago and I’ve never been happier in my life!!!

The hotdog supper has always been free will donation. This year we made a last minute decision to set up a food donation for the food bank. So if you have any extra non perishable food items please bring them in ln place of a monetary donation or better yet bring both!
💯 of everything brought in from tomorrow night will be going to the food bank in Butler County!
Please be sure to thank the Dumont community club and LaRue Farms and Trucking for the food and money they donated to make this possible. Also thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help serve!!

Well it’s Halloween Eve the hot dogs are ready for the witches pot to be cooked for tomorrow nights meal!!
The eyeballs are freezing quietly in the freezer, awaiting their first sight of the children in their scary costumes. The small kidneys of the mice …. I mean the baked beans are waiting to be warm once again to be served on the plates of all the brave souls joining us for the Halloween meal at the EMS building tomorrow night from 5-7 come join us if you dare!💀👻🎃

Such heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted and especially those who voted for the EMS tax. We truly appreciate your support! This is going to help the butler county services so much.
We are always looking for volunteers to help us out! You can take the EMT course I’ll keep you posted when the next one is. We can also always use drivers!!!
If you ever have any questions about what we do please reach out to any of us.
Being a volunteer is the most incredible thing I’ve ever done! Yea it’s a lot of work to get your certification and keep your license updated. Now thankfully we can get some assistance with the classes!!!!
However since I became an EMT I have learned so many things and met so many incredible people that I get to call family!!!!
The way you get to help people on such a personal level and sometimes very humorous way is something that has changed my life forever. I’m a firm believer in making someone’s day a little better and a smile sometimes is the best cure for pain.
