Public meeting tonight March 11th at 6pm. St. Scholastic about Rice Lake Road. This is the road right in front of Lowell elementary school. My understanding is the study looked at different options like a round about, moving the crosswalk area etc. This would affect parents who do parent drop off and pick up and the school community. I will look for a more detailed location at St. Scholastic and post that if I find out. Anyone else know?

Check the lost and found if you are missing anything too because as items get wet some children leave them to dry and they are forgotten.

In case your child's teacher did not send a message out. The playground has large amounts of puddles. Send your child with extra labeled clothes and a plastic bag for their wet clothes. Also talk with them to stay away from the puddles. I know 1st hand as my child came home with wet clothes after tripping and falling into one of them.

School board listening session tonight at 5:30pm.

A friendly reminder about tonight's Duluth school board listening session at 5:30pm at 709 portia johnson drive at the school administration building up the hill from the copper top church. Hope to see you there to support keeping grades together or at least giving parents a choice of school to attend.

This page is for parents of the Nueva Vision Spanish Immersion school in Duluth MN. It is to allow all parents in the program to connect in a space space. Please keep comments polite and kind. It is also a space to provide resources to each other that we have found helpful. Without the politics or limiting members like current Nueva vision page does even if you are a parent. Welcome!! 🙂 Also to have a place to join together to advocate for our children.
