Another big step in the restoration process! 🏗

The crane has now moved to Jefferson Street as work continues on the Historic Duluth Armory roof. Seeing this progress in motion is a powerful reminder that preservation takes teamwork, dedication, and a vision for the future.

From the ground to the rooftop, every improvement helps protect the Armory's history while preparing the building for a new chapter. We can't wait to share more of the transformation with the community as the work moves forward!

Every dollar moves this project one step closer to opening day. https://www.dulutharmory.org/ways-to-donate

A huge thank you to all of the incredible artists who performed at the Music for all, Voices Together and helped make the evening possible.

We are grateful to the Solomon Witherspoon Band, Jon Edwards, Born Too Late, Casino Cuzo, and the Jason Schooler Band for sharing your talents and supporting both the Kako Foundation and the Music Resource Center. Your performances created a fun night of music, community, and support for local youth.

We also want to give a special congratulations to the kids from the "That's a Rap" group! 🎤🎶You all did an amazing job and should be proud of your hard work, creativity, and courage on stage. The future of music is bright!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped bring this event together. What a wonderful celebration of music for all and voices together!

A true piece of history is getting a new beginning at the historic Duluth Armory!

As restoration continues, the Armory's legendary stage is being carefully redone- preserving the place where so many unforgettable performances, memories, and moments took place over decades.

Now, you have a chance to own a piece of that history. Portions of the original stage are available for purchase, giving supporters a unique opportunity to take home a tangible part of the Armory's story while showing your belief in preserving for future generations.

From concerts and community gatherings to historic performances, this stage has seen it all- and now its legacy can live in a new way.

Thank you to everyone helping preserve the history and future of the Duluth Armory.

Thank you to MPR News for highlighting the good things we’re doing at Music Resource Center - Duluth Armory!

It was a beautiful evening showing how music can heal and inspire, one child at a time.

Thanks to Sacred Heart Music Center for hosting and the Kako Foundation for the joyful collaboration. 🎶

The program comes out of the Music Resource Center and the Kako Foundation. The instructor, Terrell Grier, and Rudy Perrault, president of the Kako Foundation, joined Minnesota Now to share more about it.

A special piece of Duluth Armory history recently found its way back home.

This original sign, once posted near the Armory firing range, was recently returned to us and serves as a fascinating reminder of the building's long military history and many uses over the decades.

We love seeing these historic artifacts preserved and shared, helping tell the story of the Armory and the people who passed through its halls over the years. Thank you to everyone who helps keep the Duluth Armory history alive!
