Some of the best things in Gwinnett happen because someone chose to give back.

Meet Ryan Bonilla, a Glance Gwinnett (2014) and Leadership Gwinnett (2017) graduate who now serves on our Retreat Committee.

"My love for Gwinnett is deeply rooted and is in large part thanks to Leadership Gwinnett. My contribution through Retreat Committee is selfish; it is simply inspiring to watch 40+ strangers walk into Fall Retreat and, 9 months later, witness 40+ dear friends walk into Spring Retreat. The cherry on top is to help them understand that graduation is not the end...it is the very beginning of the next step in their journey to impact our community for good."

Volunteers like Ryan shape every class that comes through our doors. Our program wouldn't be possible without their hard work and dedication.

It is with a heavy heart that we shares the passing of Elliott Brack — a founding visionary, devoted community champion, and beloved friend to Leadership Gwinnett.

More than 40 years ago, Elliott served on the steering committee that brought Leadership Gwinnett to life. His belief in developing informed, connected leaders helped shape the foundation of everything we do today.

A gifted storyteller with an unmatched love for Gwinnett County, Elliott had a rare ability to capture the spirit and history of this community. Last fall, we were honored to celebrate his lasting impact at our 40th Anniversary Soirée alongside fellow founders.

His wit, warmth, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed. We are forever grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.

Here is a link to his obituary to celebrate his extraordinary life: https://www.gwinnettforum.com/2026/05/elliott-earl-brack-1935-2026/

Rest in peace, Elliott. Gwinnett is stronger because of you. 🕊️
