Over the last week, members of our staff attended PolicyLink (www.policylink.org) Summit, We Are the Founders, in Washington D.C. We had the honor of hearing from Indigenous elders speaking about the Haudenosaunee Confederacy governed by The Great Law of Peace. We participated in sessions with community leaders, scholars, and thought partners as panelist shared about Building a Better We and a Democracy for a Good Life. We listened and danced to live music which featured Snotty Nose Rez Kids and John Batiste. We engaged with an immersive art exhibit and connected with people from across the United States. We are grateful to be part of the work ahead to Strengthen Democracy and continuing contribute to The Blueprint: Governing for All. A special thank you to the McKnight Foundation for sending members of our team with the Minnesota delegation.
