Today in history, 1933: Ruth Bader Ginsburg is born in NYC. In 1993, she became the second woman Supreme Court Justice, culminating a distinguished career as a lawyer, professor and jurist. She was a lifelong advocate for gender equality and women's rights.

Exactly 101 years ago today, the was ratified, which guaranteed women the right to vote. However, not all women were allowed to exercise their right. Today, we honor their strength, determination, and grit.

The Commission for Women proudly hosted a workshop with Loretta Ross today about Calling In the Calling Out Culture. Loretta is a black feminist with an authentic and important voice.

Loretta Ross is a Black feminist, activist and scholar. One of her biggest concerns now? The pervasiveness of callout culture.

Celebrate International Women's Day with us!

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Kering and Pomellato have released a new special edition of the “Women In Motion” podcast featuring a conversation with Jane Fonda and “The Good Place” star Jameela Jamil.

Fonda and Jamil’s conversation focuses on diversity and gender equality on both sides of the camera, along with a retrospective look at Fonda’s activism over the course of her life.

Women In Motion, launched in 2015, highlights the creativity and contributions made by women to culture and the arts. The eponymous podcast series was created in 2019 for the 5th anniversary of the program. Each episode focuses on individuals who have been part of Women In Motion in the past, providing a platform to share their stories and beliefs.
