Breezy to windy conditions are expected to develop across the Northland starting Monday and lasting through Wednesday. Winds will be southerly on Monday into Tuesday, then turn to the west and northwest Tuesday into Wednesday. The highest winds are anticipated on Wednesday, where there is an 80-90% chance of wind gusts exceeding 35 mph across the Twin Ports and Iron Range. Winds will be even stronger on Lake Superior, with Gale Force Gusts of 30-40 knots. If you have outdoor items or temporary structures, please ensure they are properly secured before the winds increase.
