Happy AmeriCorps week!

Today, we’re celebrating AmeriCorps Day in the City of Duluth and the incredible work AmeriCorps members contribute to our community!

There are more than 100 AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps seniors of all ages and backgrounds provide service at more than 60 locations across Duluth. These volunteers tutor students, help develop the social and emotional learning skills of children and youth, support individuals and families experiencing poverty, and work to combat addiction in our community, restore the environment, and preserve our
historical landmarks.

The volunteers in our community are an important link in what makes our city a great place to live, work and visit. Thanks to all the AmeriCorps members, past and present! We appreciate all you contribute to Duluth. Everyday, but today especially, thank you for all you do to help foster a strong, engaged, and
resilient community.

Start the new year by making a difference! True North AmeriCorps members support social emotional learning skills for the youth in our community.

"Since starting at Hartley, I have seen the difference that both After School Nature Club and True North AmeriCorps are making in the lives of students.
