Silicon LakeShore Duluth HackerSpace Why Silicon LakeShore? There's a Silicon... Valley, Alley, and Prairie off the cuff. OK, cute, but why underground? What is the goal? Who knows.

What makes Duluth, MN unique (and all of MN since we have like 23,211,680.14 feet of LakeShore in MN) but our Lakes and LakeShores. Keeping it this way thinking there may be a Silicon LakeShore more formally, and SLS ▼ can be the casual side. Business in the front (Silicon LakeShore), Party in the back (SLS ▼). So far as official meetings go, we generally get together on Tuesday evenings. We are a

lso trying to storm the skywalk, usually walk at 2:30 from the tech village. We have lots of dreams and aspirations but aren't making time to hang out, thanks to Google, the Internet and the Gov't (why not always blame the Gov't?????)

Don't think of this as a huge formal group, although maybe it will be. Just a way for like minded individuals to Hangout. A Community. Does this mean we agree on everything, no! But it is a place where you may know quotes like "Ignorance is Bliss", "AYBABTU"... or you love a good Rubik's Cube evening...

Someone asks you if you watched the Superbowl, and you say "No I was busy reading." OR "Yes but only really watched the commercials." OR "Of Course, I love football." Things are coming together. Come and help create Duluth's Makerspace! This Tuesday 09/16 starting at 5pm @ 3001 West Superior Street. If you can't be there, start thinking of names because we will finalize it then. We need to start cleaning, build a website, start learning all our skill sets and needs... eat pizza, have a beer... and that's just a start.
