How long have you been at Second Harvest?
I have been at Second Harvest for 3 months now!

What is a favorite part of your job?
I love being able to meet and connect with my community neighbors.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I'm an avid hiker - hiking most every day in all seasons, and I also serve as a trail adopter helping to maintain 3 trails in Northern Wisconsin. I love gardening vegetables, flowers, herbs, and native plants. I'm also a regular volunteer at my local Humane Society - and helping to walk dogs at the shelter is one of my favorite things to do every week.

The DSTA and Second Harvest Northland are teaming up again for the 2026 Fill-A-Truck Food & Fund Drive!

Join us May 28th, 29th & 30th at select Super One Foods locations across the Northland as we work together to help fight hunger in our communities.

Last year, because of the incredible support from volunteers, donors, and local businesses, we collected:

▪️ 4,363 pounds of food

▪️ $12,373 raised

This year, we’re looking to make an even bigger impact, and we need your help!

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help collect donations at our trailer locations throughout the event. If you’d like to be part of something meaningful and help support local families in need, please sign up below.

Our Duluth facility office hours are changing for the summer! From May 26 - September 4, our Duluth office will close at 2:00 p.m. on Fridays. We will be open at our regular hours Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
