The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States. Twin Ports DSA is based in Duluth, and welcomes all members from northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. DSA is NOT a political party, but a big-tent political organization that operates from the bottom up. We provide a political home for people who share similar values, particularly those

whom are part of Bernie Sanders' political revolution. We provide an open opportunity to dig deep into policy issues such as health care, develop positions, and share our understanding with the broader community. DSA's mission and shared vision is a humane international social order based on equitable distribution of resources, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equality, and non-oppressive relationships. Equality, solidarity and democracy can only be achieved through international political and social cooperation ensuring that economic institutions benefit all people.

Come enjoy live music, meet anti-fascists in your community, and enjoy hotdogs and chicken grilled by the Socialist Meal Program! This is a great way to get connected with the anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist movement in the Twin Ports. We hope to see you there!

Socialist Summer Skill-up! Our June meeting will include button-making, screen printing, poster-making, lessons in how to plan a protest and doorknock, why you should choose a credit union over a big bank, media literacy, and more! With special guests Save the Boundary Waters!

Plan ahead for this special event: Bring something to screen print onto. This space is Bring Your Own Chair, so bring an extra camp chair if you can. There is limited street parking, so plan your carpool. And it never hurts to bring a snack to share :)

Join the Palestine Solidarity Working Group for a panel discussion on the movement to oppose US support of Israel through boycott, divestment, and sanctions. This is a non-violent movement inspired by the campaign to end apartheid in South Africa.
