🚁 A Successful Mission Thanks to Teamwork 🏔️

The Duchesne County Sheriff's Office would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of Duchesne County Search and Rescue and the Utah Department of Public Safety Helicopter Crew for their outstanding efforts in helping reunite the Losee family.

Search and Rescue personnel were deployed to the Rainbow Lake area in the High Uintas, where they worked alongside the DPS helicopter crew to safely locate and assist an elderly 79 year-old hiker in need. Their professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to answer the call—often in challenging and remote conditions—made all the difference.

We are incredibly proud of our Search and Rescue volunteers and deeply grateful for their continued commitment to serving the citizens and visitors of Duchesne County. Your selfless dedication, countless hours of training, and readiness to respond at a moment's notice do not go unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone involved for bringing the Losee family back together safely. ❤️🚁🏔️
