ALERT: All schools in the Dubuque Community School District WILL RELEASE TWO HOURS EARLY and there will be NO FRIDAY LATE ARRIVAL TOMORROW, Friday, Sept. 4, due to heat. Students will begin school at the normal Monday-Thursday start time. Staff PD and district-run afternoon preschool are cancelled.

7th and 8th sports update:
Due to our transition back to Jefferson, all sports practices are canceled tomorrow, Friday, August 28. Practices will resume on Monday, August 31. The activity bus will run on Monday as it has been this past week. Students return to school on Tuesday, and the activity bus will resume its regular after-school route at that time.
Cross Country and Football will practice at Jefferson.
7th Grade Volleyball will begin practicing at Jefferson.
8th Grade Volleyball will continue practicing at Marshall School the week of August 31 through September 4.

JEFFERSON UPDATE: As restoration work continues and following an update on the progress today, we will need to delay the first day of school at Jefferson by an additional day until TUESDAY, SEPT. 1. See Parent Square email for full details.

JEFFERSON UPDATE: The first day of school for ALL JEFFERSON STUDENTS will be delayed by four school days until Monday, August 31, to allow time to be sure the building is prepared and safe for our staff and students following last night's fire. Please see your parent square email for more details.
