Last week, Millie, Penelope & Addey presented us with the proceeds of their lemonade stand. Together, they raised $1264 to help us end hunger and we are SO grateful for their hard work and willingness to help out!

Earlier this year, Millie Breithaupt stopped by the St. Stephen’s branch of River Bend Food Bank in Dubuque to drop off a donation from a food drive at her school.

While there, the third-grader at Our Lady of Guadalupe Spanish Immersion School learned something that surprised her.

“They told me that every $10 they have equals food for one person for a whole week,” said Millie, 9. “I thought that was amazing, and I thought, ‘Well, even if I could raise $30, that would be enough for a lot of food.’”

Thank you to our friends at Goodwill for their generous donation of $1100. This gift was the result of their Round Up Campaign and is a reminder that ending hunger is something that we can do if we are able to do it TOGETHER!

A couple of weeks back, local scouts joined in our mission through Scouting for Food and their work had a BIG impact!

Together, they gathered 2650 pounds of food, 300 pounds of personal products and $1008.78 to help end hunger in our local communities!

🎉 What an amazing effort from the Flexsteel Corporate Office in Dubuque! Last week, we picked up the results of their "Stuff the President's Office" food drive, and we’re blown away by their generosity!

The Flexsteel team collected 4,055 pounds of food and $9,180, which together provide an INCREDIBLE 49,279 meals for those facing hunger in our community. ❤️

We can’t thank the people at Flexsteel enough for this extraordinary contribution! 🙌
