Borough of Duboistown Duboistown is a small borough in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

It is located in the north-central part of the state, directly south of the West Branch Susquehanna River and adjacent to the borough of South Williamsport.

DuBoistown Borough EMA Coordinator Position Opening

The Borough of DuBoistown is searching for a new EMA Coordinator. The successful candidate will report to the Borough Council and the Mayor. The Emergency Management Coordinator directly represents our elected officials.

The borough EMA Coordinator plays a major role in helping our community and residents achieve the proper level of Preparedness, Response, Recovery and Mitigation activities for any event affecting our community. This would include, for example, flooding, weather-related issues and other manmade events.

Good day,

Clinton County, in coordination with partner agencies, will be hosting a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) to support residents affected by the recent severe weather and related impacts.

The MARC will be held at:

Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Company
38 Locust Street
Beech Creek, PA 16822

Dates and times:

Thursday
Noon to 8:00 PM

Friday
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

The purpose of the MARC is to bring together local, county, state, and federal partners in one location so residents can access information, referrals, and recovery-related support. County resources will be available on site, and PEMA is expected to coordinate state and federal resource participation.

This effort is intended to provide practical assistance and a coordinated point of contact for individuals and families who may need help as they work through recovery needs. If assistance is needed, residents are welcome to attend.

We are sharing this information broadly so community leaders, emergency management partners, and elected representatives are aware of the event and can help support outreach efforts within their respective areas.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our awesome Public Works crew for their hard work and dedication to improving our borough's stormwater and sewer infrastructure before the paving by PennDot on Euclid Ave. While the work was an expense and inconvenient for a few weeks, their attention to detail prevented excessive stormwater from entering our retention tank for us to pay for treating. Seeing some of the surrounding boroughs and townships, we didn't see the street flooding that they experienced. So ..... well done Duboistown Borough Public Works crew!
