Help us build homework help!

The Dublin Public Library is launching a free after school homework help program, and we want to make sure it meets the needs of our students.

Parents & caregivers: What does your student need help with?
Teachers & administrators: What concepts do students need more reinforcement in? Your feedback will help us shape future homework help sessions and the support we offer.

This free community resource is made possible through a grant from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health.

Please note: homework help is an educational support program, not a drop-off childcare or babysitting service. Parents/caregivers remain responsible for their children during the session.

Why Community Conversations?

Through support from the American Library Association Libraries Transforming Communities & Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, Dublin Public Library has an opportunity to listen more closely to the people in our community and learn what matters most to you.

We'll be having 3 focused conversations:
-Building Connection & Disability Services
A conversation for older adults & people with disabilities

-Youth Activities & Opportunities
A conversation about what our young people need and what activities and opportunities they'd like to see

-What Does Our Community Need?
An open conversation for community members to share ideas, concerns, & suggestions

These aren't presentations. They're conversations. We want to listen, learn, and hear the ideas from the people who live, work, and participate in our community. What you share with us can help us better understand community needs and help guide what comes next.

Your voice matters, and your ideas can help shape what comes next. We hope you'll join us and be part of the conversation.

Be on the lookout for our next event flyer with more information
about each conversation!

🔥 **Your county is developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)!**

This plan will help identify local wildfire risks, guide future mitigation projects, and strengthen opportunities for wildfire-related funding. Most importantly, **community input is a key part of the process**.

Residents can help by sharing concerns about wildfire hazards, evacuation routes, access issues, water sources, past fire experiences, and ideas for improving preparedness.

Stay connected as the plan develops for updates, public meetings, and helpful wildfire resources.
