The New River Valley Regional Jail is currently accepting applications for a Civilian Control Room Operator position. This role is responsible for monitoring security systems, controlling facility access, communicating with staff and the public, and maintaining logs and records within the jail’s control center.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work in a secure corrections environment and handle confidential information

Preferred candidates will have strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
