An innovative school striving to provide students who have not been successful in a traditional, comprehensive high school setting with the necessary skills to allow them to graduate ready to move on to higher education or a career of their choosing. Our focus is on project based learning that allows students to gain real world experience and to apply what they are learning in their academic class

es. Olive offers many flexible, individualized educational programs leading to the attainment of a high school diploma or the fulfillment of other educational/career goals. These include:
• 10th - 12th Continuation High School
• Opportunity Program (Grade 9)
• Independent Study Program
• Special Education Program
• Regional Occupational Program (ROP)

Mt. Olive High School is recognized as a California Model Continuation School that mainly serves students in grades 10th-12th. We also house an Opportunity Program for 9th grade students and a Special Education Program. We host a small but effective and successful Independent Study/Adult Education Program, as well. These programs at Mt. Olive offer alternative approaches to traditional educational practices that fail to meet the needs of our diverse student population. We believe that all students have potential, can learn, are worthwhile individuals, are unique in their personalities, and can succeed.
