Ellen Greer and Carolyn Carrillo represented the York Township Republican Organization with a table at the York Teen Volunteer and Job Fair held at York High School today, March 19th.

The event was well attended, with easily a few hundred students attending over the 3 hour event. We were fortunate to have Niki Conforti join us as we were able to engage with many students about getting involved. We got over 40 kids to sign up as being interested in helping in some way. Several offered that they were interested in government, which is obviously great to hear, and those are the ones most likely to get involved. Our table had a very steady stream of kids, a few with parents, who at least stopped by.

We did receive assistance ahead of time from Gladys Novotny, Kristin Boxall and Rhonda Kollman -- thank you for contributing to the success of today's event!

John Valle and his “Your York Team” win the Republican nomination for the April 1, 2025 election.

At the caucus held earlier this month, York Township residents voted for Supervisor John W. Valle of Oakbrook Terrace, Clerk Tony Cuzzone of Elmhurst, Assessor candidate Anthony Pacilli of Elmhurst (currently serving as a Township Trustee) and Highway Commissioner candidate George T. Benes of Lombard to serve township residents. Trustee Rae Rupp Srch of Villa Park and Jeff Mussatto of Elmhurst were nominated for another term, while Kevin O’Reilly and Ellen Picker Greer of Elmhurst joined the ticket as first-time trustee candidates.

Priorities for the Your York Team Ticket include continuing to implement technologies that provide greater access to services for residents, expanding food pantry operations to serve more people in this time of tremendous need, continuing the township year-round electronic recycling service, and ensuring that seniors in York Township receive proper care and can safely access programs. The Your York Team Ticket plans to deliver on these ideas and more all while maintaining a balanced budget.
