Independent Living Coordinator
Jefferson County

Assisting at risk youth in understanding and handling the responsibilities of becoming a young adult. Assist youth in developing plans and goals, teach independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, organization, job skills, time management, coping/problem solving skills, etc.). Assist in finding housing, facilitate groups, provide positive role modeling and mentoring. Must be able to work with little to no supervision and complete the job efficiently. This is a full time position. This position requires travel out into the community.

Requirements:
• Must be 23 years old
• Valid PA Drivers License
• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Must be able to obtain Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances

Pentz Run Youth Services is a residential placement for adolescents. Pentz Run is certified Specialized Setting and is a trauma focused environment for both residents and staff.

Our program is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the residents while ensuring the most home like setting possible and maintaining professional boundaries.

Some specific duties include; supervision of the residents, assisting them with various household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and cooking. Assuring the safety of the residents and the security of the facility. Ability to be flexible with scheduling and work a varied or possibly rotating schedule with weekends.

ITS SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY!!

Come out to the DuBois Mall and support small businesses!! We have a few other vendors joining us today that weren’t here yesterday.
