🚨Squad Specialed for Land Rescue🚨

At 19:56, Squad 12 w/7 was requested to the 9-18 box to assist units with a land rescue. A subject was located approximately 25 feet down a steep embankment. Squad 12 arrived on scene and deployed two rescuers down the embankment to assist with patient extrication. Crews utilized a 3:1 mechanical advantage system to safely remove the patient from the hillside.

Excellent teamwork by all crews operating on scene and working hand in hand throughout the incident. Great job by everyone involved.

At 3:52a.m. Squad 12 w/4 was dispatched to mile marker 179WB on the PA Turnpike for a MVA. Squad 12 was placed in service by the turnpike while responding.

At 7:42 a.m. Squad 12 w/5, Res/Eng 12 w/3, and Utility 12 w/1 were dispatched to Lack Twp in Juniata County for a farm accident involving at tractor. EMS arrived on scene and advised that the fire dept could return available. FMFD was placed in service before arrival.

Rescue-Engine 12 w/4, Squad 12 w/4 and Tanker 12 w/2, responded to Lack Twp. Juniata county to assist East Waterford Fire Dept. with a house fire. Units arrived and staged before being placed in service.

🚨Squad special requested for technical recovery.🚨

Squad 12w/6, was special requested to assist Fulton County 56(McConnellsburg) with a technical recovery. Squad 12 operated on scene for approximately 2 hours.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim during this difficult time.

No further information will be released at this time. PSP McConnellsburg is investigating the incident.

Squad 12 w/4, responded to the 11-02 box for a house fire. First arriving units arrived to find a garage on fire that was attached to the house. Squad 12 arrived and initially established RIT. Later into the incident crew was directed to assist with overhaul operations.

Tanker 12 and Ambulance 12-8 responded for the working fire dispatch but were placed in service prior to arrival.

Rescue/Engine 12 transferred with a crew of 4 to Company 13s quarters while their units worked a house fire
At 1520hrs, Rescue/Engine 12 responded w/5 to the Huntingdon County 12-8 box for a house fire. R/E 12 arrived and crew was sent to the basement division before being released shortly after.
