Join us next week for our free Reading Rocks Learning Series!🪨

Don't miss out on retired PA Geologic Survey Geologist Sim Suter as he shares the secrets of the stones that shape waterfalls and streams.

💧Wednesday - Lehigh Gorge State Park (Rockport access) - 9:30-11:30 AM
Rocks can tell incredible stories about the landscape and its history. Join guest speaker and licensed geologist, Sim Suter, for an exploration of the unique geology of the Lehigh Gorge. We will depart from the Rockport Access to discover how the gorge’s rock formations create dramatic cascades and reveal the region’s natural past. We’ll also weave in a bit of local history as we explore this striking landscape.

💧Thursday - Nescopeck State Park - 9-11 AM
The wonders of geology don't just stop at rocks... it can also influence water! Join guest speaker and licensed geologist, Sim Suter, to learn about local geology and how it affects the water quality of Nescopeck Creek. We will be walking down Reilly Loop to see first-hand how geology shapes streams and the flow of water.
