I’m going to be honest.
I’m tired of seeing first responders divided by agency names, patches, titles, and things that happened years ago.
When the call comes out, none of that matters.
The person trapped in a vehicle doesn’t care what department name is on the truck.
The family calling 911 doesn’t care what badge you’re wearing.
The community doesn’t care whose logo is on the door.
They just need help.
That’s where mutual aid comes in.
Not mutual enemies.
Every one of us has a role to play.
Firefighters. EMS. Law Enforcement. Dispatch. Emergency Management.
We may wear different uniforms, but we’re all working toward the same goal: serving our communities and helping people on what may be the worst day of their lives.
Red Dirt Responders was founded on a simple idea:
Train together.
Learn from each other.
Support one another.
Lift each other up.
Because the stronger we are together, the better we can serve the people counting on us.
At the end of the day, it’s not about the patch on your shoulder.
It’s about the people standing beside you when the job needs to get done.
Different uniforms.
Same mission.
