Pound House Farmstead The Pound House Farmstead Museum, built in 1854, is open for tours of the house and grounds Mon and Sat.

The 4.5 acre venue is available to rent for birthdays, weddings & corporate meetings. Nestled on 5 beautiful acres, this museum/homestead built in 1854 is on the Texas and National registries of historic places.

Hays County is advancing additional planning and design for a new roadway southwest of Dripping Springs. This project is intended to increase capacity, provide a much-needed alternative to US 290, and enhance safety and connectivity as the region continues to grow.
