SWOT Walk this Thursday, Sept 17 at 1PM.

Bring your phones, and we will gather in the senior center with John Norton, Master Naturalist, at 1PM, to briefly learn how the biodiversity app, iNaturalist, contributes info on local biodiversity.

We will then get in the SWOT van and drive to Buxton River Park on Bates Rd. and take a walk to try it out! You can follow in your own car if you’d like.

Join us for the last Boomer bike ride of the season on September 16th at 9:30 am!

The September 2026 ride will be a 12 mile loop NW of Driggs. It will be 75% gravel and 25% pavement. We will start and finish at the Rainey/Big Eddy access to the Teton River, 6000W off Bates. From the Rainey access road, we will head north and west on lightly travelled gravel roads for 6 miles and return 6 miles via the Packsaddle road to finish the loop. Gravel, mountain and E bikes are appropriate. Not suitable for road bikes. There will be a refreshment stop halfway through the ride!

What a beautiful day atop Fred’s Mountain! We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to Grand Targhee Resort for their generosity- welcoming 18 seniors on the chairlift to soak in that crisp September air.
