Props to whoever on this app created this little pan-sear-and-steam hack!

But seriously, don't let being short on time stop you from eating something great. Nourish yourself, make it fun, and don't fuss too much.

Here's what I used:
big ol k**b of ginger
several garlic cloves
5 cremini mushrooms (shiitake are better but I used what I had)
4+ scallions
1 # primal ground pork
1/2 cup water, separated
couple dashes of white pepper
salt
sesame oil
wonton wrappers

Mix, throw in a hot cast iron, toss a wonton wrapper on top, and once they've rendered splash with water to steam. The whole affair only takes a few minutes! Serve with whatever you've got or just eat them fresh out of the pan like we did.

Food doesn't need to be complicated. Be a sovereign eater.

How much do you spend on supplements every month?

What about your gym membership? Your dining out budget?
Add it up. Really.

Because if you’re someone who hesitates at spending $16/lb for pasture-raised pork, but drops $100/month on supplements and $200 on restaurants—this is a question you need to ask yourself.

Here’s what I’ve learned after years of raising pigs:
When you’re eating truly pasture-raised, ethically produced meat from animals raised in biologically appropriate ways, you’re getting both.

The supplement-level nutrition. Higher omega-3s. More vitamins A, D, E. Better mineral absorption. Real B-vitamins, not synthetic versions.

And the restaurant-quality experience. Fat that actually tastes good. Meat that doesn’t need a marinade to be edible.

Comparing what we do at Late Bloomer Ranch to industrial pork? It’s not apples to oranges. It’s apples to styrofoam.

What you’re really buying is a health habit.

Like going to the gym consistently. Like taking quality supplements. Except this one you actually enjoy.

Food that builds your health over time when you’re consistent and intentional.

Not a luxury. An investment.

Why is it that when things get hard, our instinct is always to ADD MORE?

Last week I was run down, tired, brain fog. My first thought? Add more workouts. Increase supplements. Optimize harder.
Then I caught myself.

What if the answer isn’t MORE? What if it’s BETTER?

Not another thing to do. Just doing what I’m already doing—eating three meals a day—with food that actually feeds me back.

This is the pattern I see everywhere: We think we need MORE when we actually need BETTER.

More products vs. better food.More complexity vs. better basics.More hustle vs. better rest.

The Ritual Box exists because of this.

You’re already eating 3 meals a day. What if those meals actually restored you instead of just filling you up?

6-7 lbs: Pork chops, Italian sausage, Picnic roast. Nutrient-dense, pasture-raised, the kind of food that gives back more than it takes.

Not another thing to add to your life. Just making what you’re already doing actually work FOR you.

$99, shipping on me.

This is the opposite of more. This is better.

What's stopping you from What's stopping you from getting the most out of every meal?

From saving just a tiny bit of your time and energy and investing it in food that feeds you back?

I know it can seem daunting at first. I'm no stranger to shoving a "protein bar" (or whatever those really are) into my mouth while driving to work and calling it breakfast. But trust me—it's not as hard as it sounds.

That's why I created the Ritual Box: a rotating selection of easy-to-prep cuts of Late Bloomer Ranch premium pork delivered right to your door for $99.

This month you're getting:
** A picnic roast for pulled pork that's ideal for meal prep
** Italian sausage that can elevate breakfast, lunch, or dinner
**Classic pork chops that grill up in minutes and make dinner truly satisfying

Upgrade your meals with less fuss and more flavor this month. Shipping's on me.

Good news! We've unlocked LOWER SHIPPING RATES.

Yup, and I'm stoked about it. I have gotten too many messages over the past few months of people eager to try one of our signature BloomBoxes, but unsure about the shipping rates.

Well, we have new rates available on the site, and they're the lowest ever.

Still not convinced? For the rest of February, I'm shipping the Ritual Box for free. That's our intro box for just $99 that changes with the seasons.

This month's Ritual Box is a banger with a Picnic roast, 2 pounds of Italian Sausage, and 2 packs of Bone-In Chops for $99! Straight to your door.

Start the new ritual of feeding yourself better, and savoring every bite.

Big thanks to for the photos.

Want to know where your food comes from?

Here's the truth: there are a lot of companies out there shipping meat "direct" from the farm, that don't raise the meat themselves.

I know, it's upsetting.

At Late Bloomer Ranch, I raise our pigs from farrow-to-finish, raise our hens from chicks, and grow our flowers from seeds and plugs.

I have a hand in every phase of the process, watching quality and controlling variables.

When my team and I pack your orders, we double check every cut to make sure it meets our standards.

In a world where there is fraud around every corner, choose companies that really have your back.

Buy direct from Late Bloomer Ranch and rest assured that we will deliver on flavor, quality, and customer experience.

But, you might be asking, how much meat is it? Can it fit in my freezer?

For a half hog, it's roughly 80lbs of premium pork. That means, yes! it can comfortably fit in your fridge freezer if it's reasonably empty.

For a whole hog, it's twice as much meat and can fit comfortably in a small chest freezer (you won't need more than 7cu feet).

The peace of mind of having a FULL FREEZER, and not needing that last-minute-dash to the grocery store for mid industrial meat? Priceless

Offer ends January 31st at midnight MST. Of course, shipping is free to the lower 48 states.

Hay is basically sunlight stored for the winter.

When we turn alfalfa (a legume) into hay, we’re preserving all the chlorophyll and the energy it captured from the sun. That hay then becomes more than just feed for our pigs in the winter—it’s like feeding them the codes of sunlight that help them absorb nutrients, get their calcium, protein, fiber, and energy from something that was once living in the summer fields.

In other words, hay is a little bundle of summer sunshine that keeps them healthy all winter long.

When you’re feeding pigs hay, you’re doing something pretty special. Giving them hay is more than just tossing in a supplement—it’s actually diversifying their diet and enriching their overall nutrition.

And that’s key, because you simply can’t get healthy meat from an animal that isn’t healthy itself.

Think about how much meat at the average supermarket can’t say that it came from genuinely healthy, well-nourished animals.

That’s not the case at Late Bloomer Ranch. For the month of January, you can get 20% off all whole and half hogs. And if we sell out, that discount will roll over to February orders. Just reach out with any questions and enjoy this stored summer sunlight.
