📢 Join Us for an Elder Abuse Awareness Luncheon 📢

The Weakley County Office on Aging/Dresden Senior Center invites all seniors and community members to attend an Elder Abuse Awareness Luncheon on Wednesday, June 3, at 12:00 PM.

This important event will provide information on recognizing, preventing, and reporting elder abuse while promoting the safety and well-being of older adults in our community.

Lunch will be provided, and we encourage everyone to attend and learn how we can work together to protect our seniors.

Join the Weakley County Office on Aging/Dresden Senior Center for Game Night this evening! Supper will be served at 6:00 PM, with games and fellowship to follow.

🏆 Weakley County Trustee Marci Floyd Honored with Prestigious TCTA President’s Award 🏆

Weakley County Trustee Marci Floyd has been officially recognized for her exceptional leadership and commitment to public service, receiving the 2026 Tennessee County Trustees Association (TCTA) President’s Award.

The award was presented on May 14, 2026, by TCTA President and Dickson County Trustee, Glynda Pendergrass, during the association's annual gathering.

The President’s Award is a distinguished honor reserved for individuals who demonstrate an extraordinary level of commitment to their community and peers. Pendergrass presented the award to Floyd in sincere appreciation for her outstanding and dedicated service to the TCTA presidency, Weakley County, and the association as a whole over the past year.
